Archangel Michael
Archangel Michael is one of the most highly recognized of the archangels. The name Michael means \"He who is like God\". Considered to be a leader amongst the archangels, leader of the Virtues, and protector of Israel. In fact, he is said to be above all the Angels: the Prince of the Seraphim. It is from the tears of Michael, shed over the sins of the faithful, that the Cherubim was created.
Working both with the angelic realm and the physically incarnated light workers here in this world, Michael has been a major support since the beginning of the mortal days known as the Garden of Eden.
How would someone describe Michael? Many have had visions and dreams of Michael, and he is known to be a tall and handsome man, typically accompanied by his sword. He has incredible strength and integrity, and will stand beside anyone needing his assistance. Michael’s wings are described as the color of Emerald Green.
Some believe Archangel Michael possesses the ability to repair electrical and electronic devices as well, and invoke his assistance when all else seems to fail.
Aside from the mundane physical problems we encounter, Archangel Michael serves us all in the most noble and spiritual manner. He guides and directs those who require assistance. He inspires those who feel lost within their life purpose, or have fallen from their appointed path. He is fiercely determined in his role as protector and mentor for the mortal realm. Because of his fierce power in the battle against evil, Michael is deemed to be the patron of paratroopers and police.
Michael is also known as the angel of Mercy. It is thought that Michael appeared before Moses as the fire in the burning bush. After the death of Moses Michael concealed the tomb of Moses from Satan, and battled in the dispute over the body. This highest of Archangels has watched over, and been honored, by many cultures throughout time.
Colors associated with Archangel Michael include violet, white, crystal, orange, gold, and brown. He can be called upon for assistance with motivation and empowerment in your work, and for protection. Some believe that when Michael is present you will know by the scent of vanilla.
